Augie Tested: Sand Boxes

It may be raining today, but yesterday it was fun in the sun for Augie. Last year, grandma and grandpa Westerhoven bought Augie this sand box shaped like a turtle. Earlier this spring, we filled it with sand ... and lots of sand-related toys. At first, Augie would sit on the patio and fill his dump truck or sand castle mold with sand. Sometimes he kept them in the sand box and filled them, sometimes he filled them on the patio. We told him he had to keep the sand in the sand box. As you can see that didn't happen. He wanted to shovel it into his truck sitting on the patio, or pour it over his pants. We told him again that he had to keep the sand in the sand box. Instead of listening to us, he found a way to dump sand on himself AND keep it in the sand box. Sometimes he's too smart for his own good. Sand boxes: Augie Tested, Augie Approved.
