Augie is growing up so fast. It seems like it was only a few weeks ago that he was learning to walk. Now he's chatting up a storm and planning to waterproof the basement. Thankfully, our basement has stayed fairly dry since we bought the house, which is encouraging. We would like to finish off parts of it so Augie has a place to play during the winter. But first, we had to make sure we weren't going to have water issues. A couple of downspouts and hopefully a little waterproofing paint should enable us to make better use of the basement. Only a couple of spots along the bottom of the walls look like they've been wet in the past and have continued to seep small amounts of water. Once that is fixed, we can be on our way.
