Check Out My Ride

Today, out of the deepest, darkest corner of Augie's closet, came a box. A box that Augie was given last Christmas by his great-aunt Leslie, before he was even born. Inside was Augie's first ride. Technically it's a walk and ride, but since Augie ain't walking, he's riding. After a little bit of assembly by mom and dad, Augie was happy to show off his new wheels.

And then he was off. Off to where you ask?

To the drive-in of course.

And when the "movie" was over, Augie let us know it was time for his supper.

After a little bit of play time, it was time for bath. It's amazing we got him off that thing long enough to take off his clothes. (At least he didn't ask to take it in the bath).

Augie spent just enough time to drink a little formula, but made sure he saved enough time for one more spin around the block before bedtime.

  1. First of all, nice placement of the handlebars in the naked shot, still no Augie wee-wee on the internet. Second, I noticed in your little intro. on the sidebar that you promise a gift for becoming a follower...What are you giving people? Or was that blatant false advertising?

  2. I haven't decided yet, and won't have to until more people actually start becoming followers. Maybe I'll give them you :-p

  3. Augie looks like such a "big kid" in these shots :)
Also - the roller on the back has eyes! Dude, when did they add those?
Also, Also - Does that shirt say "Can't Sleep, Must.....Eat Candy?"

  4. Yes, it does say, Can't sleep, must eat candy. And I love the mischievous face he is giving while wearing the shirt.

  5. I feel the need to post that we are, of course, not feeding our 9 month-old candy. We just really like the shirt :-D.

  6. Then what would you call his dog biscuits and puffs? Those are like baby candy.

Also, Augie kind of looks like he wants to give a George W. Bush "Heh-heh" in the last picture. Am I right?
