Artsy Fartsy Friday: Gracie's Rain Cloud

Gracie's Take: We glued some cotton balls, but now they're falling off. We used string for the rain. And we cheated on the steps. We stapled it instead of gluing it. And we punched a hole so the string could go through it.

Dad's Take: Gracie has been waiting all week to make her rain cloud, but we didn't have any cotton balls. And mom kept forgetting to bring some home from school. Well, today, she finally remembered. So Gracie made her rain cloud. She said the glue wasn't holding the string on, so mom said, "Bring me the stapler." Now the rain stays on. She had Gracie hide the staples with the cotton balls, so no one would be the wiser. And she would've gotten away with it, too, if Gracie had done a better job of gluing on her cotton balls.
