Artsy Fartsy Friday: Bell

Gracie's Take: We made it with colors and we made G for me. And there's a bell inside, and there was a thing and it broke, but that's OK. We put some colors on the outside. We made bells because Mrs. Treder wanted us to make bells.

Dad's Take: I'm not sure if this piece of Styrofoam was supposed to be a cup or a bowl, but now it's an awesome bell. It's just the right size for a small person like Gracie to carry around the house and ring all day long. Now she has instrumentation for all those songs she walks around the house singing. Who knows, before you know it, maybe she'll be writing songs of her own.
