Artsy Fartsy Friday: Octopus

Augie's Take: It has eight legs. A face. A soft body. And it's gray. Most of it is bleeding. Some of it is red. His face is bleeding. He has a circle body. He can squeeze through cracks in the rocks.

Dad's Take: I'm beginning to think he's on to me. Now when I ask him about his art projects, he appears to be throwing in random stuff (like saying his octopus is bleeding), just to see if I'll write it down. The joke's on him, though, because I do write it down because it's hilarious. The project itself is solid. The cutting is fairly straight. The face looks like a face. There aren't any extra legs or bonus arms. I'm beginning to think this whole school thing is paying off.
