Grandma Steinke and Mom decided yesterday morning was a good day to go garage saleing. Mom didn't find much, but Grandma Steinke made out like a bandit. Among her many steals,was this play kitchen for her new classroom that she bought for only $5. She got the pantry behind it later in the day at Goodwill for about $7. Augie got a few things, too. Most notably a small red Adirondack chair for only $1.
The kitchen came with this spiffy phone, too. Gretchen says she used to have a kitchen set just like this. I have a feeling we might end up with one of them if we see another one at a garage sale.
Grandma bought some stuffed animals for school as well. Augie's playing with them here, but before I left for work he was stuffing them in the stove.
