Artsy Fartsy Friday: Summer's Over

Augie's Take: First, we made our head with the glasses and the nose and the mouth. Then, we made a neck. And then we colored it in. Then we put the favorite thing we did this summer in the glasses, because this was our first art project, and summer just ended. I put the sun and a baseball field. I liked when we were in Arizona.

Dad's Take: This picture is a little dark because I wanted you to be able to see the picture he was holding. He's so pale. As much as he loved the sun and playing baseball this summer, his tan wasn't all that dark. He's got a 1950s flat-top haircut for some reason. Maybe he just ran out of room on the paper to round it out. Overall, it's a pretty good facsimile. He's got glasses. He's got a smile. He's got a nose. He even has a neck. I'll give it an A+.
