It might not quite be Augie's birthday, but we celebrated it today anyway. (I hear schools frown on you skipping class to eat cake, so it was probably a good call.)
Of course there were presents to be opened.
And there was plenty of sports-related gifts, like this giant-headed Kris Bryant (who, fun fact, had his birthday yesterday).
One of the grandmas brought Gracie a gift too, a fat-headed Batgirl, who lasted all of an hour and a half before Gracie broke her head off. (To the super glue!)
Augie got a bunch of trading cards to open and go through. Mikey was right there to help him.
For his cake this year, as you might have guessed, Augie went with sports.
Football to be exact.
Mom used some of the little football guys he got for Christmas to decorate it. They worked really well. The scale was good for the size of the cake. (And he got more of them today to add to the gang.)
