Artsy Fartsy Friday: Augieland

Augie's Take: This is Augieland. First you go to the Ferris wheel. Then you walk, one, two, three ... six miles. Then you are at the float the ducky game. Then you walk one, two, three, four miles, and then you are at the bull ring. You walk, one, two, three ... six miles to the hot dog stand. Then you walk, one, two, three ... seven miles to the picnic area. Then you walk, one, two, three ... 11 miles to the cotton candy stand. And that's it.

Dad's Take: Augie tells me he made this little map after reading about the Super Kids visiting Happyland. He seemed to know exactly what he drew, even if his Ferris wheel is labeled a roller coaster. It's nice that Augieland has a paved path to help you get around, I just wish there wasn't so much walking involved. Not counting the walk from the entrance to the Ferris wheel, you have to walk, one, two, three ... 34 miles(!) to make it through the park. Maybe that's why there's a hot dog stand AND a cotton candy stand. They probably sell bottles of water for $10 each.
