Let's Go Visit Grandma

After nap today, we went over to Grandma Steinke's house to hang out for awhile. Augie found this old Chicago Bears football in the house and wanted to go outside and toss it around. His idea of throwing a football is twirling around at the waist and whipping it as fast as he can forward. Gracie nearly lost her head when she got too close.

So Gracie found some balls of her own to play with.

She thinks she's sooooo cute.

Augie's arm got tired, so he went to the playhouse to find some other toys to play with.

He offered to paint the playhouse for grandma. It didn't take him very long ... because he gave up, not because he was that fast.

Speaking of August, this beauty is still hanging on one of the barns on the farm. It's hard to believe it's still readable after all these years.

We poked around in the barn some, and Augie had to hop on the tractor, of course. He's going to be a heavy machinery operator some day, I'm convinced.

Gracie can't drive tractors, so she made mom carry her. You're shocked, I know.

Bye!

  1. I have no idea where that sign is - but I'm going to look for it next time I'm back home.
