Augie and I left the house early this morning (9:30 is early by my standards) to go for a hike. I asked him yesterday if he wanted to go, and he was super pumped. He wanted to go yesterday, but we weren't going to have time. So this morning, we packed up Augie's backpack and headed to a nature preserve in Covert. We were smart and wore our hiking shoes, wore hats, packed the bug spray and even brought our GPS. But when we got there, the bug spray can wouldn't spray. How is that even possible? So after a short 20-minute hike, we ran for the car and left the preserve. Oh well, it was nice to get out of the house.
