Tree trimming

It may be Monday, but Gretchen and I both had the day off, so we scheduled a tree decorating party with Augie.

Gretchen set the tree up on Friday, but there was a problem with it: the top wouldn't light up. During nap, Gretchen and I pulled bulbs and found the bad ones. Augie approved of the repairs.

I pulled out the computer and fired up the yuletide hits while Augie ate a few marshmallows.

Finally, we started hanging decorations ... most of them about three feet off the ground.

Augie tried to hang up all the ornaments ...

... but had trouble with some of them (especially the ones with hooks) and needed help from his mommy.

 I helped him put the last one on the tree, though.

And when we were done, Augie thought daddy's car could use a few decorations, too.
