I was off work last night, so Gretchen and I disassembled Augie's crib and brought his big boy bed upstairs. Gretchen bought it last summer from her aunt for less than $50, and it has sat in our basement since. We figured, it was about time Augie started sleeping in it. I just hope it means he can come find us in the morning, instead of one of us having to get out of bed to get him.
It takes up almost the same amount of space as the crib, AND there's still room for all of his friends.
It's a pretty sweet ride.
