Augie and the 'Teacher Store'

A long, long time ago (OK, maybe more like two days ago), Mom and Grandma Steinke wanted to go to South Bend to buy some things for Grandma's classroom and Mom's new bathroom. So Augie and I went along for the ride. Our first stop was the "Teacher Store." Unfortunately, the Garmin doesn't know where the "Teacher Store" is, so I had to drive around a little bit and find it. Grandma thought it had "teacher" or "teaching" in the name, but that was all she could remember. A half hour later, we arrived at United Arts and Education, which apparently was the store she was thinking about. When we got inside, Gretchen thought Augie would like to play with the wooden train set they had set up. As you can see, Augie didn't disagree with Mom's idea.

When he was done playing, he went over to the wall of Thomas train toys and looked at them. And that's all he did, because they are VERY expensive. He didn't leave the store empty handed, though, Grandma bought him a different choo-choo that propels itself when you push down on the conductor's head. Grandma was so excited about it that she opened it at the register after she bought it.

UP NEXT: Fourth of July pictures...I hope.
