This morning was Augie's preseason flag football jamboree at Lakeshore's sports complex. It was gray and dreary, but the rain had stopped by the time games were set to start at 9 a.m.
And the whole family made the trip to watch Augie play.
Some of us did more watching than others of us.
Augie had a couple of good catches in his first game. I missed the first one, but caught him making this grab as he tumbled to the ground.
They made them play defense, too.
Augie's on the "ML Purple" team this year. After the game the "ML White" team greeted them to the sidelines with a team tunnel.
For the second game, we moved to the other side of the complex. Gracie and her posse moved with us.
Augie worked on his blocking during the second game.
And his running, too.
