It's that time of the year when schools start having entertainment nights. With Gracie in school this year we had not one, but two, entertainment shows to go to this year. First up was Augie's "Creepy Creature" program on Friday night.
Besides singing and dancing, the kids made sure we knew some important facts about the creepy creatures they were dressed up as. Augie was a mouse.
A mouse with a hat apparently. There was a lot of singing and dancing, I can't remember all the details.
We sat in the back, so Gracie decided to get a ground-level view. Maybe the tile was just cooler than sitting with one of us. It was pretty steamy in the gym by the end of the night.
This afternoon, we returned for more entertainment. Mrs. Gano made her annual pitch for VBS before the show started.
Gracie's cheering section was ready to go.
And our little monkey was ready to entertain us.
At least for part of the show.
At other times she was more "meh."
And other times ... well ... let's just say she might not be wearing a dress for the next entertainment night.
