How to Make Delicious Homemade Ice Cream in Seven Simple Steps

The Steinke family was going to head to the Berrien County Youth Fair today and buy overpriced fried food, but it's been raining since 3 o'clock, so we stayed home and made overly difficult food instead. Step one was to salt a bag of ice to make it good and cold.

Step two: Combine some heavy whipping cream, vanilla extract and sugar in a separate bag.

Step three: You guessed it, put the cream bag inside the ice bag.

Step four: Shake the bag ...

... shake it some more ...

... keep shaking, get your whole body into it ...

... run a few laps, get your exercise in, just keep shaking ...

... and once your done goofing around, give the bag to dad to actually get the cream to freeze.

Step five: Stick the bag in the freezer (right next to the store-bought ice cream) to finish freezing for about half an hour.

Step six: Remove the ice cream from the bags.

Step seven: Serve ...

... and enjoy.
